J.C. Lewis Serves is a division of J.C. Lewis Ford that drives volunteerism and community service. J.C. Lewis Serves unites our employees with the community through service – exchanging the communities participation for an entry for a two-year new-vehicle lease. Partnerships with local organizations will be announced each month throughout the year. Each partnership will have a way to serve, by volunteering, donating or tagging and sharing on social media.

“By announcing J.C. Lewis Serves we recognize our employee’s heart for service, not only to our customers but to the community where we live. We are confident J.C. Lewis Serves will provide opportunities solve problems and strengthen our community.” Mike Offer, General Manager of J.C. Lewis Ford.

WHY: J.C. Lewis Serves is founded on the idea of putting the needs of others first -- a principal of J.C. Lewis Ford since 1912. Join J.C. Lewis Serves to impact the children and teachers in Chatham, Bryan, Effingham, Liberty and Bulloch Counties.

WHEN: Effective immediately, bring new or gently-used books to J.C. Lewis on Abercorn. Help us “FILL THE TRUCK” with books. Deadline July 1, 2018. Every participant who brings in 5 gently used books will be registered for a two-year lease from J.C. Lewis Ford. Check our website for the upcoming partnerships and ways to serve by volunteering, donating or tagging and sharing in exchange for lease entries - subject to contest rules.

Upcoming Programs: J.C Lewis Serves is a proud participant in the current Million Book Challenge. The Million Book Challenge was first introduced in 2017 to provide a library in each classroom in Chatham County. Next, J.C. Lewis Serves will underwrite SCCPS Summer Programming – The Operation 15 Youth Summer Camp, coordinated by the office of the Chief Terry Enoch of Campus Police is a benefitting character-education summer program. The Cadets will be given the basic building blocks of leadership training and character building with a military science model of education. A meaningful partnership with P.A.C.K. is also underway. P.A.C.K. currently packs and distributes more than 4,500 bags of weekend food to children in our community each month during the school year. 5,000 bags per month are also planned for summer delivery to students. J.C Lewis Serves also invites schools to host a Drive for Your School Event. A donation is made for each test drive taken.
