Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Thursday, September 20th, 2018

The Neighborhood at Starland Village, a planned collection of coworking offices offering business resources in Starland District, is pleased to announce it will host ThriveCEO, a collaborative business and entrepreneurial event on Wednesday, September 26, 2018.

ThriveCEO will feature networking with refreshments and special guest speakers Erica Kelly and Caty Cote of Flourish Collaborative, Kara Ford of The Ford Agency, and Kay Heritage of Big Bon Pizza. Each speaker will offer attendees their personal insight and expertise focused on topics of branding, public relations, strategy, team building and more. A Q&A panel discussion will follow the presentations.

Flourish Collaborative - The Branded Experience

Flourish Collaborative, a locally-headquartered and woman-owned creative agency for forward-thinking brands, will share with guests a case study on Hunt Gather Feast and how its success was equally dependent on strategy, design, and experience. Flourish Collaborative will provide ways in which your business can elevate its brand experience to create a stronger connection with your audience.

The Ford Agency - Share Your Story

The Ford Agency, a brand advocate and communications agency based in Savannah, will share with guests how an effective public relations campaign is one of the wisest investments you can make; and, tips on how to share your story to ensure your brand and business owns the conversation when it comes to doing what you do best.

Big Bon Pizza - In The Trenches

Kay Heritage, co-owner of a unique, collaborative, woodfired pizza experience on wheels, will give guests a first-hand account on how to build a solid brand and business from a single idea and the critical decisions she made along the way that catapulted Big Bon Pizza to its successful standing today.

Guests will also have an opportunity to pre-register for a 10-minute, private session with guest speakers to gather on-the-spot advice, tips, and solutions to address their individual business needs. Must pre-register and limited space is available.

“Essentially, ThriveCEO will help business owners and entrepreneurs answer important questions critical to their success and offer motivation and essential tools to push past any barriers that may be holding them back,” said Kara Ford, owner of The Ford Agency. “We can absolutely learn from each other and this event will be a great opportunity to share and collect ideas.”
