Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Infinity, Inc. was recently named 2018 Small Business of the Year by the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce. This award is presented to a company that has achieved success in its business through growth and quality performance, innovative efforts, and active participation in the community.

“Our company is successful because of the team we have," said Chuck Brown, CEO. "We've got hands-down the greatest IT support team here because our people are in it. They want our clients to be happy and successful, and they want our company to keep getting better and better. This award recognizes their hard work and the value that they provide. My brother and I couldn't be prouder to accept this honor for the entire Infinity, Inc. team."

Since 1999, Infinity has provided enterprise-level IT services and support to small and medium sized businesses in Savannah and surrounding areas. Brown went on to cite the ongoing partnership with Infinity clients as contributing to this award.

"We have clients that have been with us since the beginning. We know who they are; they know who we are. We talk about our families, our kids. It is a long-term, strategic relationship. By focusing on education, not sales, we explain what we can do to make your life better and help achieve your business goals. You understand your options, and you choose what you are comfortable with. Or you tell me you don't want to think about it, and I handle it for you, " he said with a laugh. "This allows us to be successful together."

Another large part of that success means being able to give back to the community. From supporting various nonprofit events like Night of Champions, Raising Hope, and Hospice Dove Society, to this year's first-time involvement with Bytes for Bites and the Savannah Tree Foundation's 100 trees from 100 businesses initiative, Infinity, Inc. is proud to be in a position to support the community.

In May 2018, Infinity joined companies from across the state in taking the goBeyond Profit pledge to make this stance official and to encourage other businesses to pledge, too. In a place like Savannah that has global appeal while retaining its tight community feel, it is a privilege to be able to use Infinity's success to help others and support future growth.
