Tournament officials announced today the final field for the sixth playing of the Club Car Championship at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club. The world-class field of 156 players is headlined by nine of the top-10 players on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List. 

The Club Car Championship kicks off this week in Savannah, GA, at The Landings Golf & Athletic Club–Deer Creek Course. 

Tickets for the Club Car Championship can be purchased at clubcarchampionshipattlc.com/tickets. Several ticket options are available. Daily tickets start at $10, and kids 17 and under receive free grounds access with a ticketed adult. In addition, the tournament is proud to offer free admission to all approved Active Duty, National Guard, Military Reserve Service Members,Military Retirees, Military Veterans and First Responders. 

FIELD HIGHLIGHTS

• Three past champions are in the field: T.J. Vogel (2022), Evan Harmeling (2020) and Dan McCarthy (2019)

• The two past champions not in the field are four-time PGA TOUR winner Sam Burns (2018) and TOUR winner Adam Svensson (2021), who are both playing this week’s World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play

• Burns won three times on TOUR last season, while Svensson earned his first TOUR victory at the 2022 RSM Classic this past November

• Nine players in the field played collegiately in the state of Georgia, with three attending the University of Georgia (Joey Garber, Trent Phillips (sponsor exemption), Spencer Ralston), four playing at Georgia Tech (Christopher Petefish, Seth Reeves, Ollie Schniederjans, open qualifier Ben Smith), in addition to Steven Fisk (Georgia Southern University), Ryan Elmore (Berry College), and Shad Tuten (Armstrong State University—now Georgia Southern)

• Players with ties to the state of Georgia in the field include: Dawson Armstrong (born in Valdosta), Elmore (Dunwoody native, Brookhaven resident), Fisk (Athens resident), Petefish (Cumming native and resident), Anthony Purcea (16-year-old Buford native and open qualifier), Reeves (Atlanta native, Suwanee resident), Schniederjans (Alpharetta resident), David Skinns (Suwanee resident), Tuten (Augusta native), and six St. Simons Island residents: Garber, Emilio Gonzalez, Peter Knade, Paul Peterson, Ralston (Gainesville native), and Dalton Ward (sponsor exemption)

• Field includes a season-high 47 Korn Ferry Tour winners with 65 total wins, including three of this season’s first four winners –Pierceson Coody, Chandler Phillips, Ben Silverman

• Field includes six winners from the 2022 Korn Ferry Tour season: Coody, Brandon Harkins, David Kocher, Andrew Kozan,Vogel, Norman Xiong

• Field includes seven PGA TOUR winners with 11 total wins, led by Heath Slocum with four

• Field includes five players currently inside top 200 of the Official World Golf Ranking: Yuto Katsuragawa (No. 148), Coody (No. 185), Chan Kim (No. 192), Lanto Griffin (No. 191), Kaito Onishi (No. 197)
