Ryan Price to Serve as Chairman of Georgia Southern’s Construction Management Industry Advisory Board

Rives E. Worrell Co./JE Dunn is pleased to announce Ryan E. Price has been selected to serve as chairman of Georgia Southern University’s (GSU) Construction Management Industry Advisory Board. Price is vice president and division manager of the Rives E. Worrell Company, a Savannah-based division of JE Dunn Construction Company, where he is responsible for overall strategies for development, growth and project sales for the Savannah office. He oversees group schedules, budgets, and works to develop and maintain the company’s goals and objectives.

“As a member of this distinguished board since 1998, I am honored to have been selected as chairman for the 2014-2015 academic year,” said Price. “I am eager to continue the excellence of GSU’s construction management program as it prepares individuals to be leaders in the construction industry and am prepared to work diligently toward the goal of greater regional and national prominence.”

In addition to his service on the board of GSU’s construction management program, Price also volunteers and/or raises funds for the Girl Scouts Historic Georgia Property Committee, the United Way of the Coastal Empire, and the Boy Scouts of America Coastal Georgia Council.

Price has been with JE Dunn since 2002 and, prior to moving to Savannah in 2011, worked as a group manager in JE Dunn’s Atlanta office, managing $200 million in revenue and leading the company’s multi-family residential projects.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management from Georgia Southern University and has a certification from the Design Build Institute of America (DBIA).  In addition, Price is a 2013 graduate of Leadership Southeast Georgia and a 2012 graduate of the JE Dunn Senior Leadership Development Program. Originally from Hartsville, S.C., Price currently lives on Dutch Island.
