Visit Tybee Redesigns Website

Visit Tybee, the tourism promotion and marketing organization for Tybee Island, launched its redesigned website, VisitTybee.com, this month.
The redesign includes an emphasis on images highlighting the Tybee Island visitor experience, a more interactive, user-friendly format and the addition of a “bookings bar” where visitors can enter in planned dates of travel and select from available lodging options on Tybee. Upcoming events, blog posts and Instagram photos are now featured more prominently on the site as well.
“We’re very pleased to reintroduce the revamped site because it helps us showcase the beauty of Tybee Island to visitors while giving them the convenience of being able to plan and book their trip all in one place,” said Sara Lane, director of Visit Tybee. “Plus, Tybee businesses now have a strong marketing tool at their fingertips to help drive more visitor traffic to their establishments.”
The website redesign responds to trends in visitor activity on the site in 2014. Last year, overall page views for the “where to stay” pages were up 9 percent over 2013. Site traffic to VisitTybee.com increased by 20 percent from 2013 to 2014, and is expected to continue to increase into 2015.
