On behalf of our 40,000 members and their 2,000,000 employees across all industry sectors throughout the state, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce is proud endorse U.S. Senator and Senate candidate Johnny Isakson. The Georgia Chamber strives to support those individuals whose priorities include advancing economic development and job creation throughout our state. Senator Isakson has a proven track record of fighting to keep Georgia the #1 state in which to do business. His exemplary leadership lead directly to federal funding for the Port of Savannah expansion which will be a major component of Georgia’s economic growth and job creation in the next decade. “Senator Isakson is one of the most respected and hard-working members of Congress. As the only Senator to chair two committees, it is easy to see why Johnny is the “go-to” on the tough issues. He is a true servant leader focused on creating jobs and improving Georgia’s business climate,” said President & CEO of the Georgia Chamber, Chris Clark. We are proud to support Senator Isakson in his bid for reelection.

The U.S. Chamber is also endorsing Senator Isakson’s reelection campaign as part of a statewide tour with the Georgia Chamber of Commerce. “The Chamber of Commerce of the United States is proud to stand with our friends at the Georgia Chamber to highlight Senator Isakson’s tireless work for the people of Georgia,” said Rob Engstrom, national political director and senior vice president at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. “It is an honor to stand alongside Georgia job creators and talk about the issues that matter to them as well as Johnny’s record fighting to get government out of the way so free enterprise can lead.”

“As a businessman, I am proud to receive this endorsement," said Isakson. "With more than 30 years of business experience, I understand the value of the private sector, and I know what it means to sign the front of a paycheck, not just the back. I have fought hard to promote job growth and strengthen Georgia's economy. I am seeking re-election to the U.S. Senate so I can continue working for common sense solutions to get our economy back on track."
