Lesley Francis Public Relations has appointed Hollie Barnidge as Acount Director. In her new role with the Richmond Hill-based boutique marketing agency, Barnidge will have responsibility for client liaison with a focus on social media management, copy writing and editing, and business development.

Barnidge holds a Bachelor’s of Journalism/Communications degree from the University of Missouri and has worked part time with LFPR since January 2015. She has extensive experience with a number of quality media outlets, including daily newspapers and lifestyle magazines, and she spent seven years as regional editor for Morris Multimedia.  Most recently, she was Program Manager with the Hinesville Downtown Development Authority, carrying responsibility for economic development, marketing, planning and preservation, design, and volunteer management. She sits on the Hinesville Veterans Memorial Walk Board of Directors, enjoys volunteering with area nonprofits, and lives in Pooler with her husband and daughter.

“I have admired LFPR for years, and I’m delighted and honored to be a part of the team. This is an exciting time for the agency, and it is great to be included in it,” Barnidge said.

LFPR was established in 2009 by Lesley Francis when she relocated to the USA from London, England, where she enjoyed a high-profile career in PR.  In 1998, Francis founded hsdcommunications, which she grew to a UK top 25 agency before merging it into a global marketing group in 2007.  LFPR’s philosophy is to strategically plan a tailored approach to meet every client’s need to ensure a big impact with the right target audiences every time.

Commenting on Barnidge’s appointment, Francis said “Hollie’s experience in social media, small business development and as a newspaper editor make her an excellent addition to LFPR.  We are growing rapidly within the Coastal Empire’s community of quality local businesses and non-profit organizations, and Hollie will be a great support for that growth.  Her enthusiasm, energy, and commitment to doing quality work will fit really well with the team at LFPR.”
