JTVS Builders Hires Zachary Glasco as Project Engineer

JTVS Builders, Inc., a residential and commercial construction company serving coastal Georgia and South Carolina, is pleased to announce Zachary Glasco as the company’s new project engineer.

In his new position, Glasco will assist JTVS with the management of all active projects. This includes scheduling and overseeing subcontractors work; maintaining the shared file system utilized by JTVS; assisting in the estimating process by touring subcontractors through potential new projects and discussing scopes of work to ensure a complete proposal is received.

Prior to joining JTVS, Glasco served as a preconstruction coordinator with a regional general contractor in Pooler, Ga. assisting with projects that included the construction of franchise restaurants and hotels in Georgia, Florida, North Carolina and Alabama. Responsibilities included qualifying subcontractors; collecting proposals for new projects; creating project specific budgets and proposals for clients; drafting subcontractor agreements; coordinating with superintendents and sharing subcontractor contact information, scopes of work, and any pertinent job specific details while also assisting in scheduling subcontractors. Past experience also includes working for a framing company building homes in Bluffton, S.C, and as a superintendent for a residential builder also in Bluffton, S.C.

Originally from Liberty County, Ga., Glasco graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration. While in college, he was a member of the ROTC program and rowed for the Georgia Tech Crew Team.
