Ameris Bank recently announced the 7th Annual Helping Fight Hunger Food Drive Initiative. During the month of October, all seven local Ameris Bank branches will participate in the drive by collecting non-perishable food items to donate to a local food bank or charity within their respective community. Ameris Bancorp will also contribute a monetary donation to each organization at the completion of the campaign.

Ameris Bank encourages employees, customers and members of the community to donate non-perishable food items throughout the entire month of October at the collection boxes located inside of each Ameris Bank branch. The Helping Fight Hunger Food Drive Initiative will benefit many area non-profit organizations including America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia, Loaves and Fishes, Richmond Hill United Methodist Church, St. Boniface Catholic Church and Live Oak Church of God.
