Wednesday, October 26th, 2016

Union Mission will be holdings its second annual Prayer Breakfast on Tuesday, November 15, 2016 in conjunction with National Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week. The event, being held at Savannah State University, is meant to encourage discussion among people of all faiths as to how they can help end homelessness here in the greater Savannah area.

"Union Mission began almost 80 years ago as a religious response to the Great Depression," said Steve Allison, Union Mission's Executive Director. "The faith community is our strongest partner, both historically and in the work we do today. We want to continue to work together and discuss the importance of community support in preventing and ending homelessness."

The doors will open at 7 AM and the Prayer Breakfast will conclude at 8:30 AM. There is no cost to attend but space is limited. Please RSVP to reserve your seat(s) by calling 912-236-7423 or emailing [email protected]
