Country Day Takes Top Honors at MATHCOUNTS Tournament

The Savannah Country Day School’s Middle School Math Team won the regional round of the national MATHCOUNTS competition. Hornets Sowah Adjei '21, Owen Elkin '21, Landon Stone '21 and Cole Gensheimer '22 took first place and will advance to the state competition in Atlanta in March. In addition to these four competitors, Jimmy Grove '22 placed seventh in the contest, Charles Harris '22 placed ninth, Cole Gensheimer and Robinson Norman '22 tied for tenth place, and Vaibhav Patel '21 filled out the team.
