RHBC Chamber Hosts March Coffee & Conversation March 16th

Please join the RHBC Chamber of Commerce for its March Coffee & Conversation on Thursday, March 16 from 8 to 9 a.m. at Bubba’s Bistro, 2457 US Hwy. 17 in the Ways Station Shopping Center. The Superintendent of Bryan County Schools, Dr. Paul Brooksher will be the guest speaker and he will share information on the upcoming ESPLOST/Bond votes on March 21.
 
Bryan County and Bryan County Schools continue to be one of the fastest growing counties and school systems in Georgia and the nation. As a result, Bryan County Schools has grown by over 2,300 students over the last 10 years and is projected to grow by almost 4,000 additional students over the next 10 years.
 
The Bryan County Board of Education is asking the citizens of Bryan County to vote on March 21, 2017 to authorize the renewal of ESPLOST (Education Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax) and the sale of up to $100 million dollars in General Obligation bonds to build new schools to accommodate for growth.
