Queensborough National Bank and Trust Company announces the hiring of Rhett Maish as Vice President of Mortgage Lending. A graduate of Georgia Southern University with over 10 years in the mortgage industry, Mr. Maish’s office is located in Savannah at 7393 Hodgson Memorial Dr. (912-662-7669).

“I have made Savannah my home since 2001,” says Rhett, “I believe in giving back to my community and so does Queensborough.” He enjoys coaching soccer, baseball, and assisting with swim team. An active member of Compassion Christian Church, Rhett also volunteers with the kindergarten and first grade youth groups. In the past he has also volunteered with Junior Achievement, America’s Second Harvest, Habitat for Humanity, and Savannah Baptist Center.

“I am ecstatic about this change both for me and what it will do for my customers, he explains, “Queensborough provides a personal touch that fits my style.” Rhett has experience in residential home mortgage programs from first time homebuyers, government programs, construction loans, and even jumbo loans.
