Savannah Technical College to Host French Students and Dignitaries March 6th

Savannah Technical College will welcome four pastry students from the Academy of Toulouse, France to attend Baking & Pastry classes for four weeks. French dignitaries from the Academy of Toulouse will accompany these students when they arrive to Savannah, Ga. The College will host a press conference at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, March 6 in the Eckburg Auditorium on the College’s Savannah Campus, 5717 White Bluff Road.
The educational exchange began last fall when five Culinary Institute of Savannah students studied and worked at the Academy of Toulouse. Training for these students includes immersion training, mentor companies, educational research tutors and evaluation.
The Toulouse Academy students will take Baking & Pastry classes along with English as a Second Language classes at Savannah Technical College from March 6 – April 2.
