Savannah Technical College Selects Kathleen Bombery as Dean for Health Sciences

Savannah Technical College has selected Kathleen Bombery as its dean for Health Sciences division. As dean, Bombery is responsible for managing initiatives related to the Health Science programs and instructional services including community, high school and college programs; E-learning and faculty department. She will also serve as a liaison between Academic Affairs and other units of the college.
Bombery has a master of arts in Health Education from Montclair State University in Upper Montclair, N.J.; a bachelor of science in public health from Stockton University in Galloway Township, N.J. and an associate of arts degree from Ocean County Community College in Toms River, N.J.
Previously, she was associate dean of health sciences at Chattahoochee Technical College for seven years, where she also worked as an academic advisor. She has more than two decades of service for academic, health and community service project direction/coordination. She also has instructional experience for Introduction to Public Health and Contemporary Health courses with Ocean County College in New Jersey.
She has received certification as a Master Certified Health Education Specialist. She has been a member of the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, Society for Public Health Education and National Academic Advising Association.
