Senior Helpers, the nation's premier provider of in-home senior care, plans to grow through the acquisition of local, private in-home care companies in 2017. The Timonium, Maryland-based franchisor was purchased by Altaris Capital Partners, LLC in late 2016, which enables the organization to bring in many more in-home care companies under the Senior Helpers umbrella and expand into new territories including Savannah, Georgia.

"We have a lot of opportunity to continue on focused growth as we move to the future, and I believe our recent partnership with Altaris will help us with additional focus on where we need to go," said Peter Ross, CEO and co-founder of Senior Helpers. "We're going to continue to expand in our franchise development, and look at some corporate acquisitions of independent home care companies in areas where we don't have franchise locations sold, such as Savannah. We now have access to the capital to do that, and it's an exciting time for us in that regard."
