Ameris Bank recently announced the hire of Brian Dixon as branch manager of the Drayton Street location in Savannah. As branch manager, Dixon will concentrate on growing consumer portfolios and cultivate business opportunities in addition to working alongside the Ameris Bank team to facilitate daily operations of the branch.

With over a decade of experience in the banking industry, Dixon has served as a bank officer and licensed financial specialist at Wachovia Bank in Savannah, personal banker/CS supervisor at Washington Federal in Portland, Ore., mortgage loan originator at Willamette Valley Bank in Portland, and most recently as senior supervisor of storage at Harry and David in Medford, Ore.  

Dixon received a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications from the University of Georgia and a Masters of Business Administration from Mercer University. He is also licensed as a life, health, property and casualty insurance producer.
