The Georgia Department of Labor’s Savannah Career Center will host a two-day recruitment for American Building Maintenance, a facility management company. The company plans to hire 60 full-time and 20 part-time employees who will be assigned to work at Gulfstream Aerospace in Savannah.

The recruitments will be held on Monday and Tuesday, April 17-18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the career center located at 5520 White Bluff Road in Savannah.

The employer is recruiting electricians, facility cleaners, floor technicians, general maintenance technicians, landscapers, vacuum technicians, along with heating, ventilation and air conditioning technician.

Due to U.S. Occupational Safety and Health regulations, all applicants must be at least 18 years old. All applicants will be required to pass a background check and a drug screening test.

Salaries for the positions are $21- $25 an hour for the electricians, $9- $9.50 an hour for the facility cleaners, $10- $13 an hour for the floor technicians, $18- $20 an hour for the general maintenance technicians, $10- $12 an hour for the landscapers, $9.50- $10.50 an hour for the vacuum technicians and $19- $24 an hour for the HVAC positions.
