Historic Savannah Foundation Announces 2017 HSF Preservation Award Winners

Monday, May 15th, 2017

Historic Savannah Foundation (HSF) announced the winners of the 2017 Preservation Awards at a luncheon Friday at the Savannah Golf Club.

This annual event recognizes individuals and organizations demonstrating excellence in historic preservation. The evaluation criteria that HSF Preservation Awards are judged upon include quality of work, degree of difficulty, and the positive impacts a project, individual or organization brings to the surrounding community.

HSF honored 14 local award winners at the 2017 Preservation Awards Luncheon, including the presentation of the Lee & Emma Adler Award for Advocacy and the Nichola Parker Coe Volunteer of the Year Award.

“Today’s honorees are the best of the best in historic preservation and are true advocates of HSF’s core values of advocacy, education and community involvement,” said Daniel Carey, president and CEO of Historic Savannah Foundation. “We’re pleased to celebrate their accomplishments in honoring and preserving the unique structures and stories that are so integral to our community.”
