Third Annual Savannah Logistics Lunch Highlights Industry Disruptors

The Savannah Logistics Lunch, co-presented by the Georgia Department of Economic Development’s Center of Innovation for Logistics and HunterMaclean, was held on Wednesday, July 19 at the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center.

In its third year, the Savannah Logistics Lunch continues to attract a large number of attendees as it brings together nationally recognized industry experts to discuss a specific topic related to logistics. This year’s event attracted over 300 attendees and included a keynote panel discussion on Industry Disruptors.

Guests were greeted by HunterMaclean’s Managing Partner Brad Harmon followed by a video message from the Honorable Buddy Carter. Georgia Logistics Summit Executive Committee Chair and Champion Logistics Group Southeastern Development Manager Robb Dillon reflected on the on the 2017 Georgia Logistics Summit, held recently in Atlanta, Ga. A regional and statewide update followed, given by Georgia Department of Economic Development Chief Operating Officer Bert Brantley.

HunterMaclean logistics attorney Colin McRae moderated the panel, which included Derek Banta, Director of Digital Channel and Mobile Applications for UPS; Stephanie Crowe, Senior Director for Global Learning and Development at the supply chain solutions company Manhattan Associates; Nagi Gebraeel, Georgia Power Associate Professor in the H. Milton Stewart School of Industrial & Systems Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology; and Bob Robers, Senior Director of Cushman & Wakefield’s Industrial Brokerage and Global Supply Chain Solutions Group.
