Two executives of Savannah’s award-winning data-driven digital marketing firm DX Marketing have been invited to speak at OpenWorld, an annual conference hosted by giant technology brand Oracle. DX Marketing Founder and CEO Ray Owens and Chief Technology Officer Jerry Gearding will serve as panelists during various sessions of the five-day conference held Oct. 1 – 5, 2017 in San Francisco.

Owens will participate in three panel discussions, one titled “Cloud Platform Journeys,” a second about small business cloud marketing innovations, and a third especially dedicated to business analysts. Gearding will participate in a panel discussion called “Hadoop to Spark: Resource-Intensive Apps in the Cloud,” which will provide insights and patterns around using a next-generation cloud infrastructure for performance-hungry applications.

Despite being one of the smallest customers on the Oracle Cloud Marketing platform, DXM is one of Oracle’s biggest small business success stories. DX Marketing executives are frequently invited to speak about their innovative use of Oracle products to deliver enterprise level data marketing services to regional and national brands. The company has earned several awards from Oracle and has been nominated for its 2017 SMB Innovation Award, which will be announced at OpenWorld on Oct. 4.

OpenWorld is Oracle’s preeminent business and technology partner conference offering valuable product and industry-specific insight for its customers. Keynote speakers include Oracle Founder and Chief Technology Officer Larry Ellison, U.S. Senator Barbara Boxer, and former Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Newt Gingrich.
