Nicholas J. Laybourn Announced as HunterMaclean’s Practice Group Leader for Specialty Litigation Group

HunterMaclean, a leading business law firm with offices in Brunswick and Savannah, is pleased to announce that Nicholas J. Laybourn was recently named Practice Group Leader for the firm’s Specialty Litigation Group.

“Nick’s extensive experience makes him uniquely qualified for this position,” said Brad Harmon, HunterMaclean’s Managing Partner. “His diverse litigation background will greatly assist the firm and its attorneys.”

Nick’s practice includes personal injury defense, business litigation, real estate and construction litigation, trucking litigation, and medical malpractice defense. He graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and earned his Juris Doctor from Mercer University’s Walter F. George School of Law. He has been selected as a Rising Star by Super Lawyers Magazine. Nick is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Georgia, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, Georgia’s trial courts, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Georgia Supreme Court.

A graduate of the 2013 class of Leadership Savannah, he serves on the Board of Trustees for Hancock Day School and is a past board member for the Coastal Center for Developmental Services, Inc.
