Nine Line Apparel Opens New Savannah Facility

Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Friday, October 13th, 2017

After five years of operation from personal homes to rental properties, veteran owned Nine Line Apparel is proud to announce the completion of their new facility. Located just off of I-95 and State Highway 204, the 60,000 square foot building has been custom designed and built to fit Nine Line’s production and operation needs, as well as to allow room for continued growth and expansion.

Over the past three years, Nine Line has grown at an astounding rate of 4,401.8%, placing the company at #85 on the Inc. 500’s list of the fastest growing companies in America. This is the second year that Nine Line has been in the top 100 of the prestigious list, coming in at #31 last year with a growth rate of 6,961.9%.

While growth means more production and higher revenue, it also means a higher demand for resources - especially space. What started as a garage-based operation in 2012 quickly grew, and Nine Line moved to a 10,000 square foot warehouse in downtown Savannah. After quickly outgrowing this space, Nine Line leased the building next door, then began supplementing space with shipping containers and trailers to house the inventory and staff needed to maintain production. With the completion of the new facility, the young company will finally have a space suited to their rapid growth and ever changing needs.

Nine Line will be a hosting a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Thursday, October 12th at 450 Fort Argyle Road, Savannah. High profile attendees include Georgia Governor Nathan Deal and Savannah Mayor Eddie DeLoach. The ceremony will commence at 10:00 AM, with a reception to follow. The event will include a memorial dedication of seven parking spaces, honoring the memories of six fallen soldiers and one firefighter from the Savannah area. In addition, Nine Line will be presenting a check for $36,000 to the 9/11 Tribute Museum from the sales of Nine Line’s 9/11 Tribute design. The check will be accepted on behalf of the museum by former members of the New York Fire Department and former NYPD Commissioner Bernie Kerik.

Nine Line is excited for this next chapter in its operations, and looks forward to many more years of giving back to the veteran and first responder community.
