Savannah Named No. 6 Small City in the U.S. by Condé Nast Traveler Readers

Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Thursday, October 19th, 2017

Savannah is ranked the No. 6 small city in the United States according to the Condé Nast Traveler readers’ survey announced today and available now at www.cntraveler.com/rca. Other notable cities recognized on the list include Santa Fe, Santa Barbara, Aspen and Laguna Beach.

Over 300,000 readers submitted millions of ratings and tens of thousands of comments, sharing their recent travel experiences of the world’s cities, islands, hotels, resorts, cruise lines, airlines, and airports.
Visit Savannah President Joseph Marinelli says the fact that the accolade is based on visitor reviews makes it especially gratifying. “Being among this exceptional list of the finest cities in the country is quite special for Savannah,” he says, “but being put there by the actual readers of Condé Nast Traveler is what makes it the honor that it is.”
