Join the Two Hundred Club of the Coastal Empire, as they partner with the Savannah Food and Wine Festival, for the second annual Whisky at the Whitman event, 100% of the proceeds will provide financial aid and college educations to the surviving families of our fallen first responders. The celebration, which kicks off one of the region’s most popular festivals, will be held at the Whitman Mansion, 611 Whitaker St., from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 7. 100% of the ticket price will be donated to the Two Hundred Club, which provides immediate financial assistance to the family members of local law enforcement officers, EMS, and firefighters who lose their lives or are critically injured in the line-of-duty.

This tasting experience will not only benefit the Two Hundred Club, a 501(c)(3) organization that serves 18 counties in Georgia and two counties in South Carolina, but also offers an unparalleled opportunity to sample some of the best brands of whisky available. The Whitman Mansion is a stately and immaculately renovated Victorian mansion in the heart of theHistoric District with classic architecture, stylishly tasteful furnishings and lavish ornamentation, and is rarely open to the public. This opportunity to experience its sophisticated ambience while enjoying a cigar bar and great food pairings created by celebrity chefs guarantees a night for the true connoisseur of all things great.

“Last year, Whisky at The Whitman proved to be the perfect way to kick off the Savannah Food and Wine Festival. We anticipate even better attendance in 2017, now that word of the highly regarded celebration has spread,” Two Hundred Club President Mark Dana said. “We could not provide financial assistance and college educations for first responder families in the Coastal Empire without the support and partnerships of local organizations and businesses, like the Food and Wine Festival committee and The Whitman team.”

Tickets for this event cost $150 each and can be purchased on the tickets page at www.savannahfoodandwinefest.com.
