Melanie Orsini recently joined Coastal Consulting Management Group as Director of Tax. CCMG is a financial management and tax advisory firm that also specializes in business valuation and litigation support.

As Director of Tax, Melanie will be responsible for delivering a full range of tax services in compliance with tax laws and regulations. Melanie will provide innovative tax planning and review complex tax returns in addition to identifying and mitigating tax risks. She will also manage the firm’s tax department.

Melanie has over 10 years of experience in accounting, and recently worked with TJS Deemer Dana, LLP as a senior tax accountant specifically specializing in public accounting firm services for individuals, businesses, and estates. She has been a member of the Savannah Chapter of the Georgia Society of CPAs since 2011 and has served as vice president of the chapter since 2015. She also currently serves as treasurer of the Susan G. Komen Coastal Georgia Affiliate in addition to serving as president and treasurer of the 20 West Duffy Street Condo Association.

She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration - Accounting in May 2006.
