Savannah has been awarded its first accolade of 2018 with its inclusion on TripAdvisor’s list of the top 30 cities to visit in the upcoming year, available now at TripAdvisor.com.
 
TripAdvisor is the world’s largest travel site, with more than 500 reviews and opinions produced by real travelers. Reviews cover more than six million accommodations, restaurants, vacation rentals and attractions.
 
President of Visit Savannah Joseph Marinelli says he could not be more proud to receive the accolade: “Wow, what a way to start 2018! Being ranked as one of TripAdvisor’s top USA cities to visit is a very big deal for Savannah especially at the beginning of the new year.
 
Marinelli went on to say, “This type of high praise sets the tone for TripAdvisor customers to beginning thinking about and making their travel plans for the year. And with so many folks in the Northeast and upper Midwest already having their fill of a cold, nasty winter, many people will be booking travel sooner than later.”
