United Way of the Coastal Empire is pleased to officially unveil its newly redesigned website. The new site, uwce.org, is built with donor experience in mind, to improve the way donors give to United Way, instantly see the impact of every dollar makes with the new Donation Impact Calculator, and advocate for the organization through its social media channels. Special thanks to Boost by Design for donating its service and expertise in developing the website.

“The new website has a clean, uncluttered design, much-improved functionality for donating online, and rich content focused on the United Way’s mission to improve lives in our community,” said Gregg Schroeder, president and CEO of United Way of the Coastal Empire. Last year, donations received through uwce.org reached its highest level, helping United Way exceed its 2017 fundraising goal.

  • A vibrant and concise design focused on making it easier to give, advocate, and volunteer

  • New Donation Impact Calculator to see the impact of every dollar donated to United Way

  • New social media wall to advocate for the organization

  • Responsive design to allow for easy navigation no matter what type of devise people are using (desktop, tablet, smartphone, etc.)

The website, which launched last October, will continue to evolve.  Additional functionality, applications, and content are already being developed by Boost by Design to continue providing an engaging and useful site for donors and volunteers.

Schroeder expressed appreciation to the web development team led by Byron Atkinson, CEO of Boost by Design.  “They worked hard to bring this project to life. I’m truly excited about the work that has taken place so far and look forward to the next steps,” said Schroeder.
