18th Annual Low Country Home & Garden Show Coming February 9th-11th

One place. One weekend. All your projects solved! The Annual Low Country Home & Garden Show, celebrating its 18th year, returns to the Savannah International Trade & Convention Center starting Friday, February 9 through Sunday, February 11, 2018. Every year, this show provides infinite inspiration for ways to improve your home inside and out.

Highlights of the show include endless aisles of home improvement products and services; over 4,000 sq. ft. of landscape features; the Art, Gift & Gourmet Area; the Life Changing New Product Zone featuring the latest in home technology; the Kids Zone featuring a Kid’s Workshop by Lowe’s and face painting; on-site pet adoptions by Jasper Animal Rescue; a seminar by Lowe’s; and gardening seminars by the Coastal Georgia Botanical Garden.

Guests will also enjoy seminars by celebrity and special guests Kevin O’Connor and Boyce Thompson.  

About Celebrity Guest: Kevin O’Connor, Star of PBS’ This Old House  

Kevin O'Connor is the host of the Emmy Award-winning series, This Old House and Ask This Old House. He has appeared on the two shows since 2003 and serves on the editorial board of This Old House magazine. Kevin is also the host of This New House airing on the DIY Network and host of History Through Your House airing on the History Channel’s H2 network.

About Special Guest: Home Tech Guru, Boyce Thompson

An author and public speaker, Boyce Thompson curates a Life-Changing Products exhibit that appeared at ten of the largest American home shows in 2017. The exhibit includes groundbreaking products that just hit the market and along with prototypes that aren’t yet available for sale. Thompson also delivers seminars that explore trends that drive the do-it-yourself, remodeling, and new home markets.

Thompson is the founding editor of six magazines, including Residential Architect, Big Builder, Digital Home, and ProSales. For 17 years, he served as the editorial director of Builder magazine, which was named the best business publication in America in 2010 by the Association of Business Publication Editors. Thompson’s first book, The New New Home, published in 2014 by The Taunton Press, was named book of the year by the National Association of Real Estate Editors. His second book, Anatomy of a Great Home, will be published by Schiffer Publishing in early 2018.

Tickets to the 18th Annual Low Country Home & Garden Show are $9.00 for adults (17+) and $8.00 for seniors (65+) and retired military with ID. The event is free for youth 16 and under and active duty military with ID. Adults may receive $1.00 off their admission with the donation of a canned food item benefitting America’s Second Harvest of Coastal Georgia. The show will be held at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center located at One International Drive in Savannah, Georgia, on Hutchinson Island. Parking is available in Lot 7 of the Trade Center for $5 (credit card only). The expo is open from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9; from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 10; and from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 11.
