Award-winning insights firm DXM of Savannah has tapped two highly venerated brand building professionals to help advance the company’s mission. Roger Beasley has accepted the role of president and Bill Reynolds takes over as executive vice president of media and analytics. Both have spent the bulk of their careers leading some of the Southeast’s most dominant advertising agencies.

DXM Founder Ray Owens, who previously held the role of president, assumes the title of CEO and will focus on next-generation business development initiatives.

Through preferred partnerships with some of the world’s largest data providers and platforms, DXM leverages unique consumer knowledge to inform business strategy and provide a quantifiable ROI on marketing spend. The company has received numerous awards for its innovative use of data to fuel consumer acquisition and retention and produce exact return on marketing investment.

In appointing Beasley and Reynolds, Owens said, “We’ve reached the point where we need more strong leaders like Roger and Bill to take our clients and our company to the next level.”

Before establishing his own marketing consultancy, Candor Strategies, Beasley served as Chief Strategy Officer at EP+Co (formerly Erwin-Penland) in Greenville, SC, and part of the leadership team that built it into the largest ad agency in the Southeast. For much of his 16 years there, Beasley worked closely with DXM, which often provided consumer insights for the agency. When Beasley left EP+Co to start his own company, DXM sought Beasley’s expertise in guiding their business strategy.

“Roger has been instrumental in helping us position our efforts as a company and brand,” says Owens. “He has a clear vision for how we should be structured and positioned in order to meet our ambitious goals in the consumer insights space.”

Reynolds is considered a giant among mid-size advertising agencies, having spent the bulk of his career leading the media divisions at two of the region’s most prestigious firms: EP+Co and Henderson Advertising. During his tenure at Henderson, the agency was named Ad Age’s “Agency of the Year.” Reynolds left his EVP/Media post at EP+Co to join DX Marketing. He is also an adjunct professor at Clemson University’s Erwin Center for Brand Communication.

“Bill’s leadership in media and analytics is unparalleled,” says Owens. “Throughout the industry’s data and digital transformation, he has stayed at the forefront of new technologies, platforms and the rapidly changing landscape. He also has an exceptional track record of building highly talented and diverse teams of professionals to deliver the strongest returns for clients. We look forward to him putting those skills to work for our growing company.”
