Klein Steel Service announced that Mike Young will assume the role of President and Chief Operating Officer effective February 26, 2018. Mike Young has nearly four decades of steel service center experience and has held the position of Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Chatham Steel in Savannah, Georgia for over eleven years. Prior to being COO at Chatham Steel, he held Division Manager and Executive positions with Chatham Steel for fourteen years. Joe Klein will continue his role as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer to focus on Klein Steel’s business vision and strategy.

According to the AMM, Klein Steel demonstrated best practices to achieve outstanding results. They embody best-in-class practices as measured by global standards. Klein Steel was selected as the best Service Center of the Year from over 500 entries.
