Michael T. Hoffman Opens BB&T Scott & Stringfellow Office in Downtown Savannah

Michael T. Hoffman has joined BB&T Scott & Stringfellow as Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor and opened the firm’s first of two new offices in Savannah, Georgia. The expansion into the Savannah market is BB&T Scott & Stringfellow’s first Georgia venture into markets outside of metro-Atlanta, a clear indication of the firm’s confidence in the sustainability of the current economic growth of Coastal Georgia. The new BB&T Scott Stringfellow office is located on Johnson Square in downtown Savannah in the historic Manger Building at 7 East Congress Street, Suite 706.

As a veteran financial advisor, Mr. Hoffman has 17 years of outstanding industry service. Before joining BB&T Scott & Stringfellow, Mr. Hoffman was First Vice President, Financial Advisor at SunTrust Investment Services. Mr. Hoffman was in the top 10% of producers for the company and was the recipient of the Performance Excellence Award for the past three years.
 
Mr. Hoffman is a native of Tifton, Georgia. He is a graduate of Georgia Southern University where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree. He currently resides in Savannah, Georgia with his wife, Rebekah, and their four children; Helen, Hayden, Will and Sims. Mr. Hoffman is a member of the Savannah Golf club and an active member of Compassion Christian Church.
