Savannah Jaycees Announce 2018 Board of Directors

Savannah Jaycees is pleased to announce their 2018 Board of Directors and Executive Officers.

Antwan Lang, Legalshield, will serve as President; James Hall, Chatham County Juvenile Court, will serve as Vice President; LeAndrea Mikell, World Trade Center Savannah, will serve as  VP of Communications; Jared Orton, Savannah Bananas, will serve as VP of Membership; Gordon Hunter, Calvary Day School, will serve as VP of Community Development; Tim Burnsed, Ameris Bank, will serve as Treasurer, Chris Player, Regions Bank, will serve as Assistant Treasurer; Marianne Ganem-Poppell, Savannah Master Calendar, will serve as Director, Sarah Martin, SunTrust Bank, will serve as Director, Rachel Bishop Savannah Morning News, will serve as, Secretary; and Cynthia Wright, Carriage Trade Public Relations and Cecilia Russo Marketing will serve as Immediate Past President.

“The past and current members have cultivated an organization with a strong foundation, built on professionalism, leadership and community development,” said Lang. “I look forward to the great work of my fellow Jaycees,  along with our community partners.”

Savannah Jaycees have raised and donated thousands of dollars over the years to various local community organizations, and have planned and participated in countless community service projects. The group has produced award-winning events, most recently bringing “home” awards from the Georgia State Convention for the 75th Anniversary Gala, as well as the Junior Jaycees program for local middle school students.
