Senior Citizens Inc. Announces the Legends, Leaders, and Life Well Lived Award

Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Thursday, February 8th, 2018

Senior Citizens, Inc., a local non-profit dedicated to helping people age successfully, will be hosting the Legends, Leaders, and Life Well Lived Award luncheon on Friday, May 11, 2018 to honor the person who most exemplifies a “life well lived”.

“SCI wanted to recognize and honor those who inspire others by the way in which they live, so we created this annual award,” said Lyons. “A life well lived is our vision statement and the result of aging successfully, which is the mission of everything we do at SCI.”

The public is encouraged to submit nominations for a person that inspires others by the difference they have made to their community and the way in which they exemplify living life to the fullest.  Nominees must be at least 65 years old, currently live in Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, and Liberty Counties and be available to attend the luncheon on May 11.

Nomination forms are available at the SCI office and online at seniorcitizensinc.org/events. Completed forms may be submitted directly online or mailed to SCI at 3025 Bull Street, Savannah, GA 31405.  To be considered, forms must be typewritten, printed, and received on or before 5 p.m. on February 28, 2018.
