Advanced Technology Development Center to Launch Spring 2018 Startup Bootcamp

Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Tuesday, March 13th, 2018

ATDC Savannah, Georgia Tech’s technology incubator, will launch its Spring 2018 Startup Bootcamp on March 19, 2018 at Bull Street Labs. The 12-week intensive program is based on the Lean Startup model and is designed to lead entrepreneurs through concept to the launch of their product.

“Many entrepreneurs are overwhelmed with where to start or how to scale their business,” said José Mallabo, ATDC Startup Catalyst. “The Startup Bootcamp walks them through nailing down their value proposition all the way up to being ready to launch.”

ATDC’s Startup Bootcamp is for Savannah-area entrepreneurs who want to learn how to take a concept and develop it into a scalable high-growth business.  Participants will learn how to create their business hypothesis, quantify customer needs, assess total addressable market, build a financial model, conduct investor outreach, and more skills to start or scale a successful business.

While ATDC is generally focused on technology companies, businesses across industries are encouraged to participate in the Startup Bootcamp. Participants will also have access to ATDC mentors during the class, which will provide both guidance and connections to resources. At the end of the bootcamp, graduates will have the opportunity to present their businesses at a demo day to the Savannah community.

All sessions will be held at Bull Street Labs located at 2222 Bull Street, Savannah Georgia, 31401 (the corner of 39th Street and Bull Street in the Starland district of Savannah).
