Attorney Richard A. Fisher Joins HunterMaclean

HunterMaclean, a leading business law firm with offices in Savannah and Brunswick, is pleased to announce that Richard A. Fisher has recently joined the firm as special counsel for the Corporate Law, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Business Transactions Groups.

Fisher has more than 40 years of experience and comes to Savannah from a law firm in Boston, where he served as chief executive officer and chairman of two public companies and as general counsel of several private and public companies. Fisher has served as counsel for multiple companies from inception through exit and has operational and legal experience in aerospace, defense, advanced materials, sporting goods, energy, education, structured finance, clothing, beverage, and food industries, in addition to others.

Fisher received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Northwestern University. He graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he was an editor of the Virginia Journal of International Law. He has remained active with the University of Virginia School of Law as a member of the Alumni Association and as a Life Member of the Dean’s Council.
