In a city full of rich history with many buildings dating back to the days of Henry Ford and before, the City of Richmond Hill recently established a Historic Preservation Commision.  The city is now seeking community leaders with a professional discipline in architecture, history, planning or related positions, who have a special interest, education or experience in history, architecture or preservation to serve on the commision.  To be considered as a member of the commission, you must have primary residency in the City of Richmond Hill.

The committee will have five members to oversee the preservation of historic assets.  In addition to the representatives from the City of Richmond Hill, the committee will work closely with the  Richmond Hill Historical Society.

Interested residents should contact Christy Sherman by April 25, at 912.756.2676 or [email protected] to be considered.
