Cohen’s Retreat, a historic landmark located just 20 minutes south of downtown Savannah in the Moon River District, is pleased to introduce The Clubhouse, an inspirational special events venue.

At approximately 1,800 sq.ft., The Clubhouse can comfortably accommodate up to 60 people and is located to the rear of Cohen’s main building. Designed by Clutter Furnishings & Interiors, and in partnership with artists Kyle Millsap and David Kafer, the new dedicated events space features a full-kitchen and bar, adjacent breakout rooms, private bath and dedicated parking just outside.

“We wanted the interior of the new bilding to play on Cohen’s overall mission of serving as a centerpiece for art, community and food,” said Lynn Rahn, co-founder/owner of Clutter. “The inspiration for the space really comes from Colleen Smith, Cohen’s founder, and her love of color and incorporating the unexpected. Art is interwoven into every room at Cohen’s so we knew we wanted to do the same with The Clubhouse. The artists we worked with, both rare talents, really energized the space - Kyle with his incredible mural and David’s mixed-media portraits - all combine to lend a feeling of comfort and style. The whole ensemble is intimate, unique and really feels like an extension of home.”

Nestled under Savannah’s moss-draped, majestic Live Oaks on a five-acre tract of land in the city's famed Moon River District, Cohen's Retreat has managed to capture the uniqueness of its historic roots, with a nod to contemporary creative inspiration, all expertly intertwined throughout the Cohen's experience. With a restaurant featuring seasonally-curated menus, local and regional artisan wares at its Brown Dog Market and several gorgeous special event spaces under its roof - Cohen’s has become a must-see Savannah destination.
