The Jenkins Athletic Club, a nonprofit providing a range of youth athletic programs and facilities for Savannah’s youth since 1933, is pleased to announce the second annual sporting clays fundraiser, Clays for Kids, hosted by the Jenkins Athletic Club board of directors, raised $32,000 to benefit the girls and boys athletic club.

“We were thrilled with the community turnout and support from all of our sponsors and participants,” said Mark Stevens, member of JAC board of directors and chair of the Clays for Kids event. “Our goal here was to raise enough funds to help support our ever-growing list of needs and to enhance our athletic facilities and programs in place for today’s youth and generations to come.”

Proceeds from this year’s “Clays for Kids” event will help the Club meet several critical objectives including funding for annual programming and ongoing upkeep and improvements for athletic facilities.
