Savannah Sport & Wellness Adds Julie Brentzel as New Trainer

Savannah Sport & Wellness offers extended hours with the recent addition of Julie Brentzel as its new personal trainer. Brentzel is an experienced strength and conditioning coach with a master of science in sports medicine.

Working with the Savannah College of Art and Design as a strength and conditioning coach, Brentzel specializes in sports performance developing training programs for her assigned teams, maintaining the health and wellness program for faculty and staff, and managing the student recreation centers. She was the previous strength and conditioning coach at Armstrong State University while in graduate school.

Brentzel earned her master's degree from Armstrong State University and a bachelors in kinesiology and health promotions from the University of Kentucky. She also holds a strength and conditioning specialist certificate from the National Strength and Conditioning Association and a personal trainer certificate from the American College of Sports Medicine.

She volunteers with Savannah’s Girls on the Run non-profit program and resides in midtown.
