Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Tuesday, May 8th, 2018

Bouhan Falligant announced Partner J. Daniel Falligant was recently recognized as a member of the  “Top One Percent” of the attorneys in the nation by the National Association of Distinguished Counsel, an organization dedicated to promoting the highest standards of legal excellence.

By virtue of the selectivity of NADC’s research process, less than 1% of practicing attorneys in the United States are members of the “Nation’s Top Attorneys.” The recipients of this prestigious award, who are selected by a blue-ribbon panel of attorneys and a judicial review board, have demonstrated the highest ideals of the legal profession.

In addition to commercial and residential real estate, Falligant’s practice focuses on business and corporate law. He has been named a Georgia “Super Lawyer” and “Legal Elite” by Georgia Trend and a “Best Lawyer in America” by U.S. News & World Report. He is a member of the Real Estate Section of the Georgia State Bar, a fellow in the Lawyers Foundation of Georgia, and served on the State Bar of Georgia’s Board of Governors for 24 years.

Falligant, who earned his L.L.B. degree from Mercer University and his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia, has been active in the Savannah community for more than 50 years, serving on the advisory board of the Savannah Economic Development Authority and the Savannah Christian Preparatory School Board.
