Thursday, April 11, 2018 was a beautiful day for the Woodville Tompkins Hospitality & Tourism Explorers to take the Old Savannah Tours trolley ride through downtown Savannah’s historic district with an experienced tour guide who brought 270 years of Savannah’s history to life.
 
North Point Hospitality, sponsors of the Hospitality & Tourism Explorer Post also arranged an in-depth tour of their newly renovated property on Bay Street, the Hilton Garden Inn Savannah Historic District. The Explorers visited this property last fall before the renovations began, so this return trip allowed them to see the many upgrades and improvements that have taken place since their first visit.
