Mental Health Awareness Event Held at OTC

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Counseling Department at Ogeechee Technical College held an activity in the Joseph E. Kennedy lobby. Students, faculty, and staff were encouraged to stop to take a CureStigma quiz to see if they were impacted by the stigma of those affected by mental illness. Local resources were made available to participants. The CureStigma movement is sponsored by the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the country’s largest grassroots mental health organization.
