OTC Faculty and Staff Help with Interviews

Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Thursday, June 21st, 2018

Faculty and staff from Ogeechee Technical College recently participated in mock interviews for junior and senior work-based learning classes in Evans County. Betty Whitaker, CTAE Director/Work-Based Learning Coordinator said, “This truly made an impact on the success of our students. By giving of their time and providing feedback to our students, these leaders showed the students that someone is interested in their future and it also sparked some things for them to start thinking about.

Do you realize this might have been the first time that someone actually had a conversation with a student about their future?” Ogeechee Tech employees who participated were LeAnne Robinson, Sherri Collins, Shenavian Holloway, Michelle McCranie, and Mallorie Morris. Robinson said, “It was rewarding to be part of helping students prepare for future interviews as they embark on their educational and employable goals after high school.”
