CAT Service Changes Go Into Effect Today

Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Monday, July 9th, 2018

In ongoing efforts to match our service levels with the needs of the community, Chatham Area Transit will be implementing service changes on July 9, 2018.

Through a partnership with the City of Savannah, the goal of the extended nights and weekend hours for the popular dot shuttle is to help residents, employees and visitors access the downtown area.  The dot’s hours of operations will be extended to midnight 6 days a week (Monday-Saturday) and to 9 p.m. on Sunday. The Route 6 Cross Town will undergo minor schedule adjustments to improve timeliness and connections.

New schedules are available at the ticket window, located at the Joe Murray Rivers Jr. Intermodal Transit Center at 610 W. Oglethorpe Ave. or online at www.catchacat.org. The fare-free dot shuttle schedules can be found at www.connectonthedot.com.  For additional information on our schedules and routes, please call the Customer Service Ride Line at 912-233-5767.
