Healthcare Georgia Foundation, a statewide, private independent foundation with a mission of advancing the health of all Georgians by expanding access to affordable, quality healthcare for underserved individuals and communities, recently awarded a $50K grant to Hospice Savannah, Inc.

A complex organization with a large staff, multiple service lines and two facilities, Hospice Savannah requested the funding to create and conduct a three-year strategic plan to ensure sustainability in our rapidly changing healthcare environment. “As a legacy hospice set to celebrate 40 years of community service in 2019, we are excited to embark on our strategic plan to ensure residents of the Coastal  Empire continue to have  access to excellent hospice and palliative care, caregiver and bereavement support,” said Jamey Espina, VP of Development and Community Services. “Our goals clearly align with those of Healthcare Georgia Foundation and we are extremely grateful for this grant.”
