In partnership with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Peacock Subaru delivered blankets and arts/craft kits to two local cancer centers as part of the Loves to Care campaign. The donations were presented to patients at the St. Joseph’s/Candler Hilton Head/Bluffton Radiation Oncology Center and the St. Joseph’s/Candler S.C. Cancer Specialists–Hilton Head.

Warm blankets were given to adult cancer patients to keep warm during their chemotherapy treatments, and craft kits were delivered to children at St. Joseph’s/Candler in Savannah. Throughout the month of June, Peacock Subaru collected “Messages of Hope” from guests and customers that were delivered along with the blankets and craft kits.

“The Subaru Love Promise is our commitment to show love and respect to our customers and to work to make a positive impact in the world by partnering with a wide variety of community nonprofits and charities,” said Warner Peacock, president and CEO of Peacock Automotive.

Peacock Subaru’s Love Promise can be seen in various partnerships with local charities and non-profits, including the Palmetto Animal League, Jasper Animal Rescue Mission, Hilton Head Humane Association, Volunteers in Medicine, and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

“The Share The Love Campaign is a wonderful 3-year partnership between Subaru of America and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Together we’re bringing attention to the urgent need for blood cancer cures while also bringing attention to the urgent need for messages of hope and warmth for patients being treated for cancer,” said Lauren Mathews, campaign manager with Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
