Fundraising Goal Exceeded at the Savannah AMBUCS 7th Annual Celebrity Bowlapalooza

The 7th Annual Savannah AMBUS Celebrity Bowlapalooza event was a huge success! This past Saturday, October 13, 2018,  dozens of community leaders came out to bowl for a good cause and have a little friendly competition.  According to AMBUCS 2017-18 National President and local coordinator, Kevin Sheehan, the team  effort raised more than $120,000. That money will help provide Amtrykes (specially adapted 3 wheel bikes for children, veterans, and adults in need), scholarships for Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapy students from the Savannah area, and The Savannah Ambuc Bowling League for Adults with Different Abilities.

This years Bowlapalooza celebrities included: Becky West  - CORA kids Regional Pediatrics Manager; Chris Sywassink - Ghost Coast Distillery; T J Hollis - Lee, Black & Hollis, PC; Kim Goode  - New Day Realty; Greg McDevitt -  McDevitt Air; Jennifer Hagan  - Thompson and Thompson Service Group; Ben Senger - WSAV; Aimee Dover  - Larek Point Consulting; Jessica Green  - Memorial  Health; Jamie Lindley  - Byrd Cookie Co.; Frank Sulkowski - WJCL; Dr. Frank Scarbrough - Chatham Maxillofacial Oral Surgery; Maggie Sikes - Irish Dancers of Savannah; Mark Tank Carter - Spanish Moss Printing; Amanda Labrot - WTOC; Team St. Vincents;Team Islands High;Team Benedictine; Team Savannah Arts; and Team Savannah Christian Preparatory School.

The money raised through the event goes directly to the Savannah AMBUCS organization programs for people with different abilities.
