Senior Citizens, Inc. is pleased to announce that Patti Lyons, president of SCI, was recently elected to serve as Chair of the Meals on Wheels America Board of Directors.

“With her experience, compassion, integrity and good nature, Patti will be an extraordinary Chair of the Meals on Wheels America Board,” said Ellie Hollander, President and CEO, Meals on Wheels America. “We are lucky to have the benefit of her deep knowledge and skills as she steps into this new governance role for our Association at a critical time for us and the network we  serve.”

Lyons has served on the Meals on Wheels America Board for the past two years. She is also involved in several statewide initiatives concerned with caring for seniors, including serving as a governor-appointed member of the Georgia Council on Aging as well as serving on the Board of Directors of the Meals on Wheels Association of Georgia. She has also been recognized by the Georgia General Assembly for Distinguished Service to the State of Georgia.
